What's up, can I see you guys take a look at two films that were based on Michael Crichton ("Jurassic Park") novels? Will you review Sphere (1998) with Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone and Samuel L. Jackson as well as Timeline (2003) with Paul Walker and Gerard Butler? You guys should go further with this. I'd love to see an entire month dedicated to authors and their works. So Matilda and James and The Giant Peach by Roald Dahl (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is too over done), The Green Mile and Apt Pupil by Stephen King & let's say The Hunt for Red October and Patriot Games by Tom Clancy. Creecher suggested this in another thread and I thought that it was such a good idea that it deserved its own thread. What other pairings would you guys want to see that are two books turned movies by the same author. Let us know. Jay p.s. We also need to think of another Stephen King flick since we already did The Green Mile.

Originally I was going to say Christine and Maximum Overdrive for Stephen King until I learned that he wrote Apt Pupil.

Hmmm - How about Silence of the Lambs and one of the others: Red Dragon or Hannibal.

Yeah... I don't think anyone would want to hear us talk about Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice, but your second thought is good. We did Silence of the Lambs way back when, but it would be fun to do Red Dragon and Hannibal (and maybe Manhunter too). I'll add it to our list.
